BRENTWOOD — Brentwood City Attorney Katherine Wisinski is set to leave her role with the city after nearly eight years of service.
Wisinski plans to join the city of Pleasanton as its assistant city attorney.
“I’m very excited to be joining their City Attorney’s Office as an Assistant City Attorney,” she wrote about her new position in Pleasanton. “As of now, my last day with the City of Brentwood is anticipated to be March 7th, but that could change.”
In an email obtained by this news organization on Thursday, Wisinski thanked her colleagues for all the “kindness, professionalism, grace, and grit” shared over her time with the city.
Wisinski said she has “learned so much” from her fellow teammates over the years and was “grateful for the time” with her colleagues.
“The collection of talent assembled here is phenomenal and is such a boon to this community,” Wisinski said.
Wisinski was the Brentwood assistant city attorney before she was appointed as interim city attorney in December 2023, following the retirement of then City Attorney Damien Brower.
In June 2024, she assumed the role of Brentwood city attorney.
