Fundraiser nears $10,000 for man injured on Hwy 50 Today Us News



A fundraiser seeking to help a Concord man injured last week during a blizzard in the Sierra Nevada had gathered nearly $10,000 by Monday afternoon.

Daniel Tam, 23, and two others were injured on Feb. 16. Authorities said a pickup truck lost control on a snow-covered stretch of state Highway 50 near South Lake Tahoe and hit the trio as they worked to put on tire chains.
