Saratoga is gearing up for a spirited March, and if the early buzz is any indication, the city is more than ready to shamrock and roll its way into spring.
The Saratoga Village Development Council is once again turning the Village into a St. Patty’s treasure hunt for kids on Saturday, March 14, 2-4 p.m. Children can scour the area for “magical green rocks,” each redeemable for real golden dollars. As the event organizers like to say, “It’s like finding gold at the end of the rainbow.” Young hunters can also expect pennies, treats and other surprises along the route—enough to keep the afternoon lively.
Adults have their own spots to celebrate wearing of the green. The Bank—long a St. Patty’s Day favorite—has entered a new era after three generations of ownership by the same family. Now under the care of Jeff and Julie Prince, the beloved local watering hole has been refreshed and renovated, drawing in both longtime regulars and newcomers. House Family Vineyards is blending St. Patrick’s Day spirit with Girl Scout cookie season for its third annual cookie and wine tasting on Sunday, March 15. Guests can reserve a curated tasting flight paired with classic Girl Scout cookies, while Scouts greet visitors and offer boxes for sale.

It’s coming up! The 2026 Saratoga Rotary Art Show returns to West Valley College on May 2-3 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The event will feature fine art, live music, and food, wine and beer vendors.
