Shia LaBeouf bails out, but must go to rehab after NOLA fight Today Us News

Actor Shia LaBeouf on Thursday paid a new bail to avoid jail, but was ordered to attend rehab after he triggered a street fight in New Orleans earlier this month that culminated in his arrest.

During a court appearance Thursday morning, New Orleans Criminal District Court Judge Simone Levine revoked LaBeouf’s release from jail on his own recognizance and set his bond at $100,000, The Times-Picayune reported.

She also required the 39-year-old Disney Channel alum to undergo drug and alcohol treatment and participate in weekly drug testing should he bond out.

LaBeouf immediately paid the fee for his freedom, but was denied permission to leave the state.

Early the morning of Feb. 17, the “Holes” actor was caught on video brawling outside R Bar on the corner of Royal and Kerlerec Streets in the Faubourg Marigny, just outside the French Quarter. Witnesses said LaBeouf was thrown out of the bar for being aggressive. He briefly left the area, but returned a short time later.
