Gorillaz tickets go on sale for concert tour stop at Oakland Arena Today Us News



Gorillaz are on their way to the Bay Area.

The world’s most successful virtual band — boosting a concert experience that has been described by Rolling Stone as “an overwhelming pop spectacle” — performs Oct. 28 at Oakland Arena.

The show is part of a newly announced 22-date tour for Gorillaz, which is once again being brought to life in concert by co-creators Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett. Albarn will joined onstage at these shows by the Gorillaz live band and “some very special guest performers,” according to a news release.

Gorillaz are known for such songs as “Feel Good Inc.,” “Clint Eastwood,” “On Melancholy Hill,” “DARE,” “Dirty Harry,” “Stylo,” “Kids with Guns,” “Tomorrow Comes Today” and “Rhinestone Eyes.” Gorillaz are touring in support of their latest album, “The Mountain,” which hit selves in late February.

Gorillaz tickets go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. March 9, gorillaz.com/tour.
