Federal immigration agents deployed tear gas and pepper spray to clear the streets in Minneapolis during another anti-ICE demonstration. The tense exchange was reportedly set off when an immigration agent allegedly rear-ended a car and then questioned the driver who says he is a U.S. citizen. Meanwhile, the city and state are now suing multiple top Trump officials over the growing deployment of federal officers there. NBC’s Maggie Vespa reports for TODAY.
