TAB Tech Symposium
Cupertino Library’s Teen Advisory Board (TAB) is holding a tech symposium on the future of AI on Jan. 24. Presenters include SellScale co‑founder Aakash Adasera; Aditya Sharma, a Google Pixel AI engineer; Animesh Singh Alang, a UCSC AI researcher and founder of Rizzy; Prof. Navrati Saxena, a globally recognized expert in AI, 5G, IoT and next‑gen communications; and Lesya Hendrix, developer of autonomous systems for Earth and lunar construction, with experience in Tesla, Nuro, Scania and frontier tech.

Tuesday Travel Night
John Trudeau will give a presentation Jan. 27 on the Dauphine region of southeastern France as part of Tuesday Travel Nights at the Cupertino Library. Located south of Grenoble, Dauphine’s countryside hosts farmland, twisting roads and limestone cliffs and caves. Trudeau will highlight a medieval town, a famous shrine, villages and monuments to the French Resistance.
The presentation is set for 7-8:30 p.m. at the library.
Literacy tutor training
The Santa Clara County Library District is seeking volunteer tutors for its adult literacy program. Volunteers in the Reading Program work one on one with adults looking to improve their reading, writing and communication skills.
