Today, the beloved alt-grocery chain announced the 17th Annual Customer Choice Awards — 11 in all, including a savory top choice and a protein-packed new product.
TJ’s customers started casting votes late last year. The only products not eligible for these honors were the perennial winners that have been installed in the TJ Hall of Fame. (That would be Mandarin Orange Chicken, of course. Unexpected Cheddar. Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups. And Chili & Lime Flavored Rolled Corn Tortilla Chips. With more to come.)
This year’s winners are:
Favorite Overall: Steamed Pork & Ginger Soup Dumplings.
Favorite New Product: Protein Pancakes, with 20 grams of protein per four-pack.
Favorite Lunch & Dinner: Butter Chicken with Basmati Rice.
Favorite Beverage: Spiced Apple Cider, a seasonal product. (Having won five-plus times, this product is heading to the Hall of Fame.)
Favorite Cheese: Goat cheese, in all its variations.
Favorite Produce: Teeny Tiny Avocados.
Favorite Appetizer: Creamy Spinach & Artichoke Dip.
Favorite Breakfast & Brunch: Hash Browns.
Favorite Sweet Treat: Sublime Ice Cream Sandwiches
Favorite Snack: Garlic Butter Irish Potato Chips.
Bath, Body & Home: Brazil Nut Body Butter, a seasonal product that will return this summer, TJ’s says.
