The cross country winter storm has left several southern states in rare freezing temperatures and some could see record lows. The risk of life-threatening cold is ever more urgent for the nearly 900,000 people still without power and heat in their homes especially in Tennessee, Mississippi, Louisiana and eastern Texas. NBC’s Ryan Chandler reports for TODAY.
