A storm expected to drop 2 to 4 inches of rain arrived in the Bay Area early Sunday.
The updating radar map above shows current areas of precipitation in green, with greater intensities indicated by yellow and orange.
Strong winds were also forecast for Sunday, continuing into midweek, and winter storm warnings were in effect for Lake Tahoe and Yosemite from Sunday to Wednesday.
