Porzingis, Seth Curry could return vs. Thunder – The Mercury News Today Us News

Kristaps Porzingis and Seth Curry were both upgraded to “questionable” for the Warriors’ game on Saturday against the Thunder. Porzingis has sat out the past six games with an unspecified illness, and Curry has missed three months with sciatica.

Porzingis arrived via trade from Atlanta in early February in exchange for Jonathan Kuminga and Buddy Hield. At that time, he was rehabbing from an Achilles injury. He returned to play 17 minutes off the bench Feb. 19 against the Celtics, but has not played since due to this illness.

The 30-year-old Latvian center disclosed last October that he had been diagnosed with postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome, a nervous system ailment that can impact heart rate and other areas of health. It is not clear whether his absence is related to that diagnosis or a different illness.

Between the Hawks and the Warriors, Porzingis has played just 18 games this season.

Curry has not played since Dec. 4 but participated in pregame shooting drills before the Warriors’ victory Thursday over the Rockets.
